There is a huge misconception about IT in terms of taking as career scope. Two extreme myth can be found.
One of those is
it is very easy to earn money in IT career and can start money from money from tomorrow if you start learning today!
Another one is
to be established in IT field you have to be so much talented and good as student!
But the actual reality is that it is not such easy to earn money in this field and you don’t have to be such talented naturally to become IT specialist. What you have to be is dedicated to learn what you choose and love what you do.
I am going to make a brief overview what dimension of IT you should choose and how should you start and proceed.
What to choose:
Designing:
Do you love to design something creative? Does a nice design make you thoughtful about the details of the design?
Then Graphic Design would be a nice scope for you to work with.
Programming:
Do you love to think the logic behind a fact? Love to play with math?
Then Programming is for you.
Web research:
Do you like to surf internet to know something new or collect important information about something?
Then you can be web researcher.
Data Processing:
If you are good at Typing and have good skill in office program you can choose the scope.
Article Writing:
If you are good at writing you can be online writer.
How should start:
After selecting your preferred field you have to plan how should you start. You can think of doing a course on it. But it is a matter of sorrow that most of the training centers are not as professional and practical as you expect. That does not mean that I am discouraging to admit in training center but you should be very careful to join because it is a matter of financial issue as well.
Whether you join or not you have to be self learner through internet. There are a huge resources in every subjects I mentioned. Besides, you can take advice from an expert in the related field. If you don’t feel comfortable in English tutorial start with tutorials in your own language. After learning the basic things you should start small implementation using the skill you gained so far.

Career Opportunity :
In Bangladesh, there are many IT companies who hire people in these skills every year. If you are really skilled they will hire you even if you don’t have any certificate! Because most of IT companies believes in your skills not in your certificates.
You can ask if I don’t get any job what will I do. I am happy to inform you that then you have the opportunity to do job over the world staying in your own country. Many companies from developed country now offering remote job to the right persons where the hourly or month payment rate is very impressive.
You can also do project base work bidding in the marketplace. Another interesting thing is in the market place you can sell your services or items.
